The leaders of our heli-skiing adventures are our highly experienced guides. Recognized as some of the best in the business, our guides are teamed up with skiers and snowboarders at a ratio of 4:1 or 3:2. A few have been guiding in the Chugach since heli-skiing arrived in the early 1990’s.

They work hard earning certificates as qualified ski guides, avalanche forecasters and wilderness first responders. And on vacation, they climb and ski the highest peaks in the Alaska Range, the Alps, and the Andes.

In the three decades we’ve been operating, our guides have developed a safety program designed to minimize risks; including thorough mountain safety, avalanche forecasting, prevention and rescue, and helicopter safety for all our guests.
