Individual seven day Package Rates ....

All of our Individual Ski Week Packages start with your arrival on Saturday afternoon and conclude the following Saturday afternoon.

Private Ski Week packages....

Our private packages include:

• 14 hours of flight time in a EUROCOPTER B-2 A-Star helicopter, 7 hours guaranteed *
• Two professional heli-ski guides
• 7 nights lodging for 8 guests, single accomodations
• K2 powder ski rentals
• Breakfast and lunch
• Airport shuttles
• Use of Tracker avalanche transceiver
• Use of Life-Link pack, shovel and probe

When you charter a private helicopter at Valdez Heli-Ski Guides, you are guaranteed the best heli-skiing experience possible in the Chugach. After weather and ski conditions are approved by your pilot and guide, you are free to fly when and where you desire. Remote circuits and isolated destination peaks, like Meteorite and Pontoon, are all within your reach.

To maximize safety, all private parties must be accompanied by at least two VHSG ski guides. Accordingly, the ideal private party is made up of 8 guests (A-stars can carry 4 guests and one guide.)

If weather conditions do not allow the seven-hour minimum to be met, your Hobbs time will be refunded at $1500/hour.

* On a private package you will be charged by the helicopter’s "Hobbs" meter. Basically this means that the clock is activated every time the pilot takes off, flies, hovers, lands, or stabilizes the ship on a technical landing. In our experience, private groups can average about five or six runs per Hobbs hour flown. Your actual efficiency may be higher or lower depending on weather conditions and horizontal distance traveled to your skiing area.
